By attending, participating in, or entering any event, retreat, workshop, or experience hosted by The Melanin Drip Collective (“the Collective,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), you acknowledge and agree to the terms of this Media Release.

1. Consent to Photography & Recording​

I grant The Melanin Drip Collective the irrevocable right and permission to photograph, film, record, and otherwise capture my image, likeness, voice, and appearance during the event.

This includes, but is not limited to:

• Photography

• Video recordings

• Audio recordings

• Live or recorded digital content

2. Use of Media

I understand and agree that the captured media may be used by The Melanin Drip Collective for lawful purposes, including:

• Marketing and promotional materials

• Social media content

• Website and email communications

• Educational or documentary purposes

• Future event promotion

Media may be used in any format, now known or later developed, without time limitation.

3. Ownership & Rights

All media captured remains the sole property of The Melanin Drip Collective.

I waive any right to:

• Inspect or approve the finished media

• Receive compensation or royalties

• Claim ownership or usage rights

4. Release of Liability

I release, discharge, and hold harmless The Melanin Drip Collective, its owners, representatives, employees, contractors, and partners from any claims, demands, or liabilities arising from the use of my image, likeness, or voice.

This includes claims related to:

• Privacy

• Defamation

• Misrepresentation

• Emotional distress

5. Opt-Out Procedure

If I do not wish to be photographed or recorded, I understand that it is my responsibility to notify The Melanin Drip Collective in writing prior to the event.

While reasonable efforts will be made to honor opt-out requests, I acknowledge that complete exclusion from incidental or background media cannot be guaranteed.

6. Voluntary Participation

I confirm that my participation in the event and in any photography or recording is voluntary and that I am not under any obligation to be recorded.

7. Age Requirement

I confirm that I am at least 18 years of age, or that a legal guardian has provided consent on my behalf.

8. Governing Law

This Media Release shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States and the State of Ohio.

9. Acknowledgment & Agreement

By attending the event or checking the acknowledgment box during registration, I confirm that:

• I have read and understood this Media Release

• I grant permission for media use as described

• I waive any right to compensation or approval
